Heading down to Sanabel on 8-16. Launch locations and bay / ocean and wind direction info greatly appreciated.

If I were you I would leave the kite and board at home and bring the fishing pole instead.....

Unfortunately you are a few weeks too early for when the lobster season starts.


But to answer your question, park off the Sanibel causeway, easy beach to find.
biggest possible kite and board. Wind either East or usually West especially in the
afternoon about 5-10 knots maximum unless you are lucky and a huge thunderstorm
appears, then you get 20-30 for a few minutes or more

Thank you. Its a family vaca so i was trying to get a feel for if bringing my gear would be worth it. Sound like not. Maybe rent if there is a breeze. C
