Sizing for the 2011 Park was wrong. The 12m was really a 11m, the 10m a 9m... and so on. Hence the lack of bottom end compared to the same sizes from other brand. Plus the bar with 20m line length in some case...making it worse.Starsky wrote:2011 park is widely reported as a high end biased kite with the only stand out criticism being its lack of low end power.
Many love their Parks for waveriding !mzll wrote:thanks for your input guys!
i didn't know that the 2011 parks had a reputation to be weak, i bought them spontaneously on maui for a very good deal, and i have A LOT of fun with them. only these summer months in NY are frustrating.
i'll keep an eye out for the Fly then, and check on the 17 cloud as well.
have fun!

This is only possible because it has awesome windrange, and again, only possible because they dont have much low end.
And lighter riders will love the windrange even of the bigger kites.
So if you get a kite with more low end, you will miss out on the windrange (and ability in waves where really important).
You can not get both, and have to decide
Would just be sure you know that it is horses for courses, and nothing wrong with your Parks

A lot of buzz around the BRM Cloud, especially the 17m for super light wind.mzll wrote:i need to get a bigger kite to keep myself busy during summer weekends!!
