Still trying to meet Caesar . Our schedule`s have been tight but hope tomorrow we can do it.

Marc, my cousin went to Sao Miguel, and he keeps saying I must go there! Sounds like an amazing place to go!

I still have 2 more weeks off to kite till the end of the year, trying to find some mates from hometown to hit Cumbuco or some other place in Ceara again!
Today mate! Looking forward to catching up with you too.
I'm busy with my mate's wedding preparations in 2 days...

A bit tricky with ATMs...actually there are many, but most of them Banco24, which had problems with frauds and didn't accept foreign cards anymore.
Not sure how it is now, maybe Ceasar can update us.

Otherwise there are Banco do Brasil ATMs in Caucaia and Fortaleza who will work.

Hi,
Banco24 (Itau) wont work for most foreign cards anymore.
Bradesco (max. R$800.00 per withdraw) and Banco do Brasil (max. R$1000.00 per withdraw and day) works fine at the moment.

But there are some magic credit cards which let you withdraw 7x1000 Reais!
A friend of mine did it at Banco do Brasil.
I still wonder what card that was! And still jealous about it ;-)

Hi mate,

I could do that too until a few months ago. If it was withdrawn just recently, then they had lifted the limit. With Bradesco it is possible to withdraw several times in a row (but only R$800.00 per withdrawal).

Trip is over
All good things come to an end.
3 days blowing over 20, today a little lower.
Kiting in the ocean, cauipe lagoon. Riding next to Alex Pastor and Reno Romeu, going to a north and blade meeting and riding their 2014 gear. Everything was amazing!

But surely the best part was how Caesar was a great host showing us an amazing time!

I told him I was a Golfinho, so about an hour later at saturday, i'm looking at the horizon and I see a green fuse blasting upwing. I was like "omg" look who's coming!!
We shared some beers at the hotel on saturday, and some more today on my "send off"
He also helped me tuning my fuse to his line specs, the kite is a completely different beast now!

Caesar mate, thanks so much! My and my girlfriend had an amazing time with you !

Will try to come back by the end of september!

Hi
I'm coming to Cumbuco for the last two weeks of september
What is the deal with ATM's there?
Do we need to bring money? or get money at the airport?

It's a PITA if we have to have a wad of cash with us

Hi,

You will get money either way or the other. Try the ATMs at the Airport first (they are located upstairs near the departure gates). The ATMs in Fortaleza work too. Or exchange cash at the currency exchange offices next to the arrival gates.
