I don't do a lot of moves anyways

I find the board responds very well when you put your back foot up against the raised pad.

Not possible with the strap in place.

I can carve the board more aggressively this way for certain, but if i were to take the front strap off i would lose that leverage. i will concede that i lose the ability to boost big air but i don't use it for that anyways.

You could do a lot of moves with 2 straps on surfboard just like you can do on a TT..using less wind

Back foot against the pad sounds good .....
....but foot in strap is only 2 1/4" away from raised pad plus you get added leverage for turns

Leverage from front and back foot.....that is 100%........just front that's 50%

No need to boost big air....like you like to say.... with surfboard.....
.... but transition airs of 5-10 feet in low wind 9-11kn are really fun with LW specific fast looping kite

Light winds are great to learn new moves without the hurt often associated with higher winds

You could have a vast repertoire of LW moves soon......and who does not want that....really

Keep having fun with the Nugget...it is a strong side shore current...."terminator"
........."i'll be back" !

I ride the nugget in both high/low winds. I find the one strap fun too....but when wanting to jump, I replace the back strap. Agree that you place back foot over fin and turns are superb. So we all agree and harmony is back in this forum. Good karma.

Do I really want a North Nugget?
