Check This out :

GreenWizard wrote:Donald Trump has made his hatred of wind turbines clear by a few objections: they kill
birds, are too expensive, are made in China, and “are a disaster for the environment,” - ...

That Self-serving Bastard only has ONE goal, and that's to put money in HIS pocket.
The idiot should invest in a USA made wind turbine and make a TUN of money; the
ones made now Are expensive, but he has the business expertise to change that !!

BTW --- here is where an OFF-Topic section would be nice ; i got a LOT to say
about This topic, but this is a kite board forum ...

Well he got what he wanted And his new course has been going for over a year and is much liked by golfers.Because he got what he wanted we can still kite as the original plan was two rows of turbines 500m from the low water mark from Bridge of Don to Newburgh. Straight up one of the UKs largest beaches(18 miles) . There are many other issues surrounding this development but we can still kite here because of it. Most of the area is also a huge bird sanctuary and was opposed by the vast majority of those in ABZ. as was his new course.

If you go to the beaches/spots part of this site you may get a better idea!
Think about that the next time you fill in some e-petition not knowing your
arse from your elbow.

His combover is amusing.

Can I suggest all you wannabe armchair politicians piss off as you clearly havn't a clue!!

LOL

I'm going to avoid the politics. I agree with you that wind turbine development is often in conflict with nature and those of us who enjoy the outdoors, particularly kiteboarding in the case you are describing. No technology should automatically be considered "green", there are environmental costs to be weighed.
