We just received our first Alias deck yesterday and of course, there is no wind. Not even enough to fly a kite. Anyway, I took these pics to show the similarities and differences to the Airush SEctor 60 V3. Once we get some wind, we'll post up performance results.
+ Bamboo and Cork in the deck
+ Grab Handle
+ All four fins are mini-Tutle which means the NSP mini-Tutle to FCS adapters will work, greatly expanding weed fin options
+ Covex deck
+ Grip texture where there aren't pads
- Less top deck shaping
- Less overall thickness/volume

... purely by the look and based on no evidence but my opinion, I predict that the Cab will be more like the older Sector 60 V2, which was one of the easiest funnest boards to ride but a little slower than the V3 Sector. The V3 Sector is more raceboard style so you have to ride the fins more and is not as easy. Don't get me wrong, the V3 is still ok but not as easy as the old V2 and the V3 has much more speed potential for sure.
The 'SUP' style handle in the middle of the Cab board is a stroke of genius I think, my wife hates carrying my Sector because she has short arms.
cheers,
Robbie

Yes, please do tell!
I'm thinking this board would be perfect for the afternoon "Ora" on Lake Garda.

No one is riding on them as Cabrinha STILL doesn't have the fins, straps, or hardware for any of their epoxy boards. At least that is what they tell me.
What a bummer.

Stafford, do you have access to the Mini-Tuttle to FCS adapters? I looked on the site, and I didn't see them. They appear to be notoriously difficult to find in the US.
If you have a line on them, I'd love to know where to get some. I have a Sector 60 v 1.5 and I'd like to try playing with some "surfier" fins (move the rears to the front and put some surf fins in the back) on days where I don't need max upwind angle.
Thanks,
Chris

Yeah, I'm trying to get my filthy paws on them too but the rep is bag of dicks. When I get them I'll post up.
Thanks,
Stafford
