Supreme Kite Bag

Postby NYKiter » Sat Aug 24, 2013 3:58 pm

I've owned quite a few kites over the years but nothing has come close (or may never come close) to the supreme versatility of the kite bags from my 2008 SS REVs. Great for bondage fetish freaks... :baby:

Check out these specs:

14 Buckles
1 set of adjustable shoulder straps
2 small D rings
1 waist strap
1 zippered pocket
1 internal pocket
1 side bar pocket w pull tie
1 bag-long side zipper
1 pump bungie
1 pump housing velcro strap
1 top pull tie
1 front slot
1 round plastic slitted thingi (not even sure what it is - manual drain plug?)

Pics?

I like the pump bungies on the Epic bags - fast, easy and ensures I don't track mountains off sand off the base into my car.

Agree SS bags (post 2005 briefcase fiasco that is) are very nice, but could use a "tongue" panel beneath the side zip like on waterproof boots, so the bag could open very wide but also let you cram the kite in there and yank the zipper to shut it without worrying about catching canopy in the zipper teeth. And a big mesh panel on the side opposite the zip.

PM me for paypal details to remit design consultant fees.

FWIW, I carry my kites in mesh laundry bags most of the time, wear the harness and shove the pump etc. into my surfboard bag...

Kid's kites don't count.

I'd like a bag with a built-in compression strap :D

Hey Kami ... if you consider a WHOLE quiver that includes a kids kite then you re wrong...I went last year to Paros Greece and in the morning i was using my 6m for megaloops,in the noon the 8m for freestyle and in the evening the 11m for just a joyfull ride.. ;)

Do you remember the BEST bags that even had a hole to put your headphones thru?
How was your summer bash? Sure wish I could have joined you.
