Ah c'mon EZ, that is light wind, as opposed to a breeze, and the kite is doing really well for everyone to see on that vid.

"Medium-light wind" my arse... what about air temperature, gradient, humidity, and the other factors you need to talk about when you want to have it accurate... I know the physics behind it so don't bother... seems more like you have an axe to grind with Mr. D for unknown reasons?

Exactly :thumb: all those factors are at play here
Florida WNW late afternoon wind almost totally onshore typical at end of winter & early spring time
Opinion based on facts and experience

Alamos i wish you a great kitesurfing year :D

Sure mate, same to you! So WNW is dry and cold? B/C this is when it has most power. Gradient is obviously little judging by the palm trees vs. kite flapping on the beach.

And I'm almost sure Mr. D had a little advertising in mind as well :D

Kite looks to be performing very well in those winds.
And since it is impossible to know the exact wind speeds if you were not there, I'm gonna guess the guy who was there would know best. :thumb:

Yep...it is the best time of year in Florida to make LW videos.. (been riding here 33 years)

What would be interesting his D. returning to that same spot @5 months later in hot summertime

With Gulf of Mexico onshore sea breeze swaying the palms trees the same way

He would then be mowing the lawn very slowly with zero jumps barely able to stay upwind

Just an opinion based on facts since those 2 types of wind "power" happen here during the year

I could have made a video in those special conditions to make my XR3 19 + Nug look special
Coulda, shoulda, woulda!

How did the trees look again? How many days were like that again? If you could mine a little more data on how awesome it was that might just make it convincing.
