Just out of curiousity, has anyone had issues with the plastic translucent quick release sleeve cracking?
(I don't use these bars personally)

Friend of mine had that problem.
Couple of times it caused accidental nasty QR openings while riding /at least, these I was witness of/.
There was visible crack along the QR...
I think he already received new one.

Do you mean the red cuff it self?
The svivel has bin a issue this year...
But also some that releases without reason of it self that I know of.
