I am only looking at the Freeride, freestyle specs and up wind ability as this is where North will be targeting its sales.
Really good news for the 2013 Evo riders as everything is the same except you gain more lift and hang time. For the Fuse riders we will be down on upwind performance and slightly down on the sheet n go which is not much in that department. But of course you gain more in the freestyle area. The biggest for me is better lift.......wow better lift than the Fuse :cool2:
The reason I preferred the Fuse to the Evo was the hang time and up wind ability. But now I will sacrifice the up wind ability with more lift with the same hang time.
If the specs are what North say they are, this kite is well worth a test.
Hi Coop,

Are you sure? Did you hang on the 2014 Evo or did you look at the specs and what someone else wrote? Just curious since that would be fantastic news.

Cheers

What's the point of introducing another rebel-like kite...

Yep, this gem + quality problems... Looks like it's time to move to another manufacturer.
What quality problems?

Caesar
I got the 2014 Evo specs form Norths 2014 catalog. I have heard it will be released in November.
Like I said, if it is true to Norths specs it will be worth while to have a demo :thumb:

Stitches breaking on struts on a brand new kites (c.a. 5-15 cm from the yellow tapes), after c.a. 5 times on the water on Evo '13 and Vegas '13. Stitches breaking all the way along the main tube in Evo '12. Confirmed on several different kites (Evo, Vegas). Bar grip cover coming out all over the way in '13 after 15 times on the water.

Well have had now close the 45 sessions on the 2014 dice and not a problem, bar and kite.

That's 2014. And the new evo is 2014. Repeat 2014.

Can't wait to try that sucker.
