very nice. congrats lander.

I am wondering if one of the advantages of riding a foil board is that you have less bouncing and that one therefore can save some strength

I dunno. it looks like so much fun!!!

I thought so too taut, so I ask Alex Caizergues about it, and he said you constantly need to push the board down to keep the right angle of the foil.

Well I was there as well and I have to say, its thanks to the riders that this event went so smoothly.

A few notes that they should improve on for the next race.

- Better shuttle to the beach as mentioned.
- Race results.. Really? out of 400 people they were only able to post the results of the top 3 of men and the first girl.. Thats not good enough and an area RedBull needs to improve.
-Information was only available in German before the event. They would have made it easier on them self if they had posted all the information in english as well as its an international event.
- The afterparty should have been on the beach.

Apart from that, awesome event and really cool to experience Fehmarn as its a world class kite island.
Sunday morning was epic! Had a great time!

I got some rider's feedback, three more things to improve:

- set the buoy on the other coast a bit less high, so more riders can go around it.
Most of the riders are in it for the fun, not to win, make them happy

- block the big ships for a certain time period (specially for the start), since they can kill someone and I think we got lucky here (saw the two ships behind each other? People passing behind the first, the wind dies there, the second one comes...)

- make a big marker on land where it started...many riders went to much upwind because they saw kites there...it was another kite location! Or have a bigger boat half the way as first direction where to go from the Danish coast.
