Hose blew out on Zephyr - easy fix?

I was flying the Zephyr just off my beach and the kite deflated in mid air. Luckily we landed it safely. Upon inspection the rubber hose came loose between the strut and the LE. Is the fix to reattach it with a new zip tie? I'm afraid to try and cut the old one off for fear of cutting any of the hose. I peeled back the zip tie and was able to get the hose back on all the way but I can't get zip tie back over the hose. Just tie a new zip tie on tightly and leave the old one on the kite? Thanks...

A new zip tie is included in your Ozone repair pack,
along with a new black, one-pump hose if it need replacing.
Spit in the hose and it slips on easy.

OK I give you back "your beach". It doesn't have any wind anyways. It's filled with Canadian Geese poo and voodoo strut popping karma! Quite a turnaround from the old days... Seems like yesterday a young strapping NYkiter was flailing on the seawall getting to know every rock by name and today was schooling the pants off the whole Syracuse contingent! :thumb:
