You are on the 5'2" or 5'5" ?
5'2"
85 kg

Curious what users here are finding with their 2014 Nuggets.
.
I was looking at the SeaBreeze forum and came upon their Nugget thread.
This is what got posted last.
.
Just a heads up - both amazing boards and perform really well in Perth's lack of swell conditions, BUT - there seems to be an inherent weakness in the design/manufacture of the 2014 Nugget. I've seen this on another forum too. Cracks start appearing along the edge just off the front pad. My other Nugget (2012?), ridden just as hard, and obviously much more, has shown none of the same weakness. Pity. In every other respect the board is awesome. And that's a problem in kiting - how do you demo 'structural weaknesses'?

Need more details about possible reasons for that happening
Was the rider doing strapless airs with board and his heel did that from repetitive landings ?
How heavy was the rider ?
Is it an isolated case ?
One would think that if his front foot was in the strap it could not have cracked right there ?

What I read, copied and posted above, was an account from a guy who has put many more hours on his first Nugget and had no problems with it....while his new 2014 has had problems already, with the same guy doing the same things including strapless freeriding in the form that most have adopted...I have no additional questions for that user, his account tells his story.
The 2012 model has a history of problems, the 2013 model seemed to hold up well, his post on SeaBreeze makes me curious about the 2014.
Feel free to contribute additional feedback about your experience with your 2014, but at your weight, riding only strapped, in very light winds on a 19M kite, in very small waves, from a sandy beach launch...I'm sure you are not a kiter that will put the board's durability to the test.
Surely there are hundreds of kiters who belong to this forum who bought the 2014 models.

You can see from the pic that his board is a 5'5, I know that the rider is 94kg - hope its an isolated issue.

it looks weird how the grab rail looks tucked over in the pictures compared to Image

to me it looks like they have crushed the core from doing big airs.
We have one board that was crushed from doing big airs. lay up was too light.. the second board still looks brand new after 2 years and he does 30' airs on it all day long... But I will admit it is a heavier board then a production board

just my 2 cents

Do not B so sure..OlnB
If the wind picks up while on the 19m2 to 18 knots i keep riding my Nug 2013
It is still holding up perfectly well after almost one hundred 15- 20 foot high jumps..landed tail first

I do not have a 2014 model
But my better half  is getting one next week
She is getting the 5'2" Nug...and at 5'2" herself / 112lbs..she will put her board to the test :D

Njoy is not likely to stress her board any more than you do yours.
I would think your landings are pretty soft with a 19M kite and always strapped and on the pads, but thank you for the feedback.

Been looking for a used 2013 Nug for Njoy but no one his selling theirs because they are so good !!
She likes LW in the ocean with her 17m2 and we have been sharing the Nug we have last year

Did not want to wait anymore for a used one so we made the move and ordered 2014 through 321

I am excited that in LW we will both be out at the same time on our own Nugs :surf: :surf:

Can't wait to see the smile  on her face when...
.....she trows her "bread and butter move" forward spin in 8kn

P.S. 14Toe (240 lbs) has the 2014 5'5" Nug...likes it a lot...rides strapped in surf...does not jump it
He is also holding on to his other Nug 5'0" 2013 ( like majority of people who own that model)
