WHAT! When did the price go up by $700?
When interest suddenly spiked from Damien and Johnny's youtube videos probably!
As with the raceboards in 2012, I thought that when the foil boards got more popular the prices would come down with larger numbers being manufacturered. Instead prices have gone up substantially
I was struggling with buying one for $1800, but at $2200+ I will have to wait for a used one.
There was a Carafino board on ebay a few months ago that went for $700, but I wasn't sure if the older Carafino boards were as good as the newer boards. Now I see people saying they are just as easy to ride. I'm kicking myself for not buying that board!

DON'T WORRY CHICKEN CURRY, WILL GET YOU ON A NEW BOARD FOR HALF THE GOING PRICE IN SHORT TIME.
IF YOU NEED A USED ONE I WILL POINT YOU IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION.
TO BE HONEST, I WAS LUCKY IF I GOT A NEW SURFBOARD ONCE A YEAR IN HAWAII. CARAFINO HAS ALWAYS MANUFACTURED BOARDS TO COVER OUR EXPENSE AND OTHER EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH OVERSEEING MANUFACTURING. IF WE WERE LUCKY, WE MAKE A LITTLE BIT OF MONEY.
SANTA IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER. DON'T GIVE UP JUST YET.

Plan to document it all

Got a buddy in Austin Texas with a Carafino that has 5-6 rides behind a jetski.
He is looking at a powered paraglider now and is ready to sell his Foilboard.
Anybody interested, send me a PM and I can get you in touch.
