Can anyone tell me anything about the Slingshot Vision board - aside from it will be available in 138 & 140?

Intended use freestyle, wake style, free ride, flat water, waves, straps & boots, straps only? Board looks stunning in the images/ video.

Thanks

What do you want to know? From what I've seen it looks like an awesome all around board that you can use with boots or pads & straps. Squared off tip and tail that are tucked in a bit. Some channels and features on the base of the board. First reports are coming in and people are stoked!

138 is 42 wide
140 is 43.1 wide

I'm looking at the 138 for myself.
I might have one to try soon...ish....maybe if I'm good :baby:

It is meant to bridge the gap between competition and recreational riding so somewhere between the Misfit and the Asylum.
The flex pattern has been tuned to suit as well.
The new Bonza laser cut channels is pretty unique too and combined with a continuous rocker apparently produces smooth turns and landings.

More to follow soon. :thumb: :thumb:

Absolutely stupid not to offer it in 134 size and even less. The sizes for offer are for boots, recreational weekend kiters and heavy weights.

Thanks Stu - did not even think to ask on the UK forum :) If you get hold of one I would not mind grabbing it off you at the beach to try!

Lisaped - I do agree that the 138 is a bit big would love to see it as a 134....

The channels and the sculpting look amazing, I like the concept but 138 really! I only ride straps so at 70Kg that would be massive - unless it is a totally new concept in boards and rides totally unlike anything else?

Hopefully someone from Slingshot will say that a 134 is on the cards :)

Right! I am 85 kg and find 134x42 to be my biggest size when wind picks up to 20 and more and I am not alone in that boat. I'd prefer to see a new concept board in 120cm size working like modern 135-140. That would be amazing new concept :thumb:

Well they make the Asylum in 134 x 41 which is a great board.
I'm pretty sure they'll add a 134 if there is demand although in the UK last year everyone wanted 138 and 141 Asylums !!!

What width would you like a 134 to be?

I have found that the width of a board is far more important than the lenghth. I know 42cm is the right width for me with straps @90kg

134 x 41 of course :)

I am looking at the Asylum but can't get my head round the graphic this year, if I did go for the Asylum I would go the 134 x 41 as I don't need the extra width for boots..... The Misfit is a bit flat for me - prefer a bit of rocker and small fins. That vision would be awesome in 134 x 41 with some 30mm fins on it - bet it would be loose as hell :)
