The second day of the MINI Kitesurf Tour Europe Scheveningen was a very laidback, sunny day.

Especially for the Freestyle-riders, who need some decent wind to compete and be able to perform their tricks. During the day the side-offshore Easterly breeze was reason to get the racers on standby and try to start Course Racing. With the dropping wind, the racers got off the water and got together on this relaxing day to discuss the bright future of this discipline in kitesurfing. With the Olympic Dream still in their minds, European’s best racers got down to discuss the basic Course Race regulations, like minimum wind requirements to start racing.

Less serious action happened all over the event site, where riders tried their best to stay balanced on one of the slacklines available. Sunny conditions and little waves offered great conditions to get the Stand-Up-Paddleboards out and have fun on the Surf Simulator. MINI’s Kite Clinics made sure that the skyline of Scheveningen got decorated with the Trainer Kites, being used all day long by enthusiastic visitors. Meanwhile everybody’s looking forward to the forecasted stronger winds of tomorrow. Stay tuned for more action following soon!
