I reckon if people are asking advice go easy and be nice otherwise u create a culture of people too afraid to ask and that undermines everything this website is good for.

Mini 5th line is again another bunch of bullshit that confuses punters. Riders read "5th line awesome, one of safest systems out there" then see word 5th line with teh word mini and equate it to awesome safety of 5th line.

I got into that messed up kite tangle with another kiter a few fews ago that was trying to drown me - I was soooooo thankful to have my deployable 5th line on at the time - I don't always have it set up. Anything can happen but fact that kite ended up released into other kite (we communicated what was about to happen) hinged at centre of kite, not at side in my opinion reduced chances of it getting tied to other kite and deathlooping.

whaddayaknow..

Today my friend riding this RRD kite got a tip wrap and into a deathloop - lucky we ride on a huuuge sandy beach and lucky it wasnt the 35 knot+ forecast at the time , in fact he told me his friend with same kite had it happen recently and things were not looking good (changed kite brands) - again we ride on big beaches often with huge buffer zones compared to rest of world.
