Slingshot compstick grip

I have a 2012 bar and have an option to get a 2013. The grip is supposed to be softer on 2013, but looks the same. . Anyone used both, can you feel a difference?
Thanks, will save me a bit of cash then. All Slings blurb say 2013 has softer EVA grip though...TheJoe wrote:I don't feel a difference.
