The Reo is a great kite,
but it is not a good kite for jumping.
It is soft feeling in the jump and no real float.

The Catalyst has a lot of good from the Reo
but much better for freestyle, like jumping.

If you really want a Ozone for jumping,
you want the Edge.
But it sux when you want a quick turning kite in the waves.

Yes I have some of each of the above.

The 2012 Reo 10 is a jumper especially if you loop hard. I find that the 2012 8m can jump high in 25kn plus if you send hard but doesn't float like the 10M. I havent tried thw 2013 reos because the 2012 reo doesn't lack much imo. I also fly Edge 19m and 9m if you want long floaty jumps try the Edge 9m in anything over 18kn and you won't be disappointed it still turns fast enough for waves but not a reo. The reo 8m weighs like 3pounds flies like a stunt kite the 10m weighs not much more so drift is excellent which is what it was designed to do. Bottom line Reo is not a bad jumper when powered up due to fast speed and has low aspect c kite style grunt
