I'm loving the kite so far and am shocked i was able to stay out on the water in such high wind conditions. The kite definitely jumps a lot different than my 2012 evo kites, but once you find the sweet spot, hold on for some major vertical. Jumps are more up and down wind than evo.

The 6lb psi seemed a little light to me after riding without a pressure gauge since i started kiting. i pumped up to 7.5 and the kite never folded or bent any any way the entire time even with gusts up to 40 knots.

Cant wait to ride the kites in non nuking conditions, and try some unhooked.
hi Kramer. How do you rate the hangtime compared to the 2012 evo? I am very interested in it!
And the upwind ability? I guess almost the same
Thanks

the hangtime is good, but a lot different than the evo. The evo is more mellow and glides you down on landings, where the Dice landings bring you a lot further downwind rather than across like evo. Upwind ability has been good for me, but ive also only rode my kite in super powered conditions. I had a ten min session on my 10 min session on the 10 in super light conditions and i think the evo has much better lower end.

the turns on the dice are crazy fun, no lull area at all lots of power through the whole turn.

What do you define as Jumping better? What's your ideal jumping style? Then we could answer otherwise your question is undefineable relative to these two kites.

Love the kite (in flight),...but:
What's the deal with the shitty self launch and equally crappy re launch.... in light wind.
Got the 10m and use Naish bar with 24's
Or am I just spoiled by riding Evos before ?
anyone else got this problem? another dude here feels the same way

That is which kite gets you higher.

You are using the Naish bar?

The Naish bar has a low Y and single front line safety compared to the North bars High Y and dual safety.

Have you flown and compared the two? I'm interested to know what you found different!

Yeh fabs, the low Y might have something to do with it. I haven't had problems relaunching, although never self launched it, I tether when I can and haven't been in any isolated spots with it as yet. Actually that's a worry considering I have had them for over two months

Righto, more to Jumping than that I'd say but okay. I'd say the true C Vegas would yank you higher. Dice will bring you down better and give you more glide...but hey you didn't ask about that did you...
