The open competition committee first thought SupaEZ had another go at the trophy. But after following the link, the committee decided the question made sense in relation to the dunce's statement and thus rejected the entry. Sorry mate...
What Joe Barton said was a statement. Had he put it in the form of a question, he on the other hand would have won hands down.

Would you believe Barton is the House author of the Energy Policy Act of 2006 and Chairman of the House-Senate energy conference committee? It's kind of scary.

Saying retarded nonsense then adding "It's something to think about" is one of the most annoying things those morons do; like the twaddle that just dropped out of their ass somehow has intellectual merit that needs serious consideration - instead of mocking laughter.

It does cause a small incline in local temperature as a study published in Nature shows. Probably not something to worry about, but he is not totally wrong.
