[quoteIf you outrun the speed at which the wind pushes the kite it will drop like a stone...its called gravity...kites don't magically drift...][/quote] Really? What are you a riding? There are plenty of kites that drift and let you go slack line. You see it all the time. Mine never drop like a stone.

Strange how a feather, piece of tissue paper or a leaf fall so differently than a stone in light wind. And how some kites fall so differently than others.

"its called physics" and "its called gravity" are pretty awesome statements. But you're joking, right?

when a kite's lines go slack wheres the kite going?
its going down...it may fall slightly downwind....it may fall nose or tail first...it may fall flat...but in the end its still headed down....when they invent a kite dirigible that floats, then I will accept the drift hype..

The Naish Parks are very stable and have a huge windrange.

I understand exactly what you say that you're looking for & I'd say that you could likely narrow down your choices to: Ben Wilson Noise Pro; Ozone Reo; & wildcard suggestion of Ocean Rodeo Prodigy.

The earlier Cab drifters had a narrow sweet spot but maybe the 2014 has addressed that.

I'd put the Ben Wilson at the top of your wish list :naughty:

Yes buy a 3 strut wave kite. Mine is a reo and it does exactly what you ask.
