Who got to fly today? What was the wind and weather like? How was the session?
I'd like to go to Brazil for the warm weather and consistent reliable wind. Shame about the Visa hassle. Even more so; .50c to the dollar is one thing; 4:1 10 years ago was even better.. It seems like when the economy was better; they looked at how much a room goes for in America and set their prices to be the same. How much was a room back in the day in Brazil?
Wind and windy days seem inconsistent right now in SPI/OBX? Who's there now? Is the wind fluky?
I was appalled when I looked at the windy days per month in Florida. Where does anyone plan on riding at in Jan/Feb?
If you've never looked into getting a Visa to travel to Brazil; have a look:

Trying to decide on somewhere good to go(warm/windy) for this month and Nov/Dec.

February/March are really our best months I would say. Usually in the Fall as well, October/November are usually really good with North winds. If you were looking at the summer, then yeah it's pretty unbearable. I ride every day that it looks worth riding (13-14 kn+) and looking over my logs this summer... July 3 sessions, August 3 sessions, September 4 sessions, October, 3 sessions so far.
Expecting the season to start any day now...

South Padre was beautiful. A handful of people out, nice wind, warm water, lots of smiles and good times.

South Easter, flat water estuary session. Guys on 12m dices throwing some awesome shit down. Me on a 17m zephyr (it was light when I got it
) lit off my tits, but having a blast, trying to unhook the beast.
Only 20 degrees Celsius so very cold for us west Aussies....lol.
