Was that name chosen by a German?
I thought mist was an expletive in German and meant something like crap?

I like to get a little skull now and then!

So, Windrt...does the Mist fly like a Prime did?
Power?..depower?...jumping?...relaunch? ....turn radius?
Please tell more.

I agree, the name Prime was very good and needed no change.
It is very obvious that this model departs from last years model in design, so they could have easily kept the Prime name.
I think Blade brings very nice flying kites to the market. :thumb:

Just spoke to a friend who rides Prime. He says the mist is way faster and lighter on the bar. Also the turn radius is little smaller than the prime, but not so small like the trigger.
We both found the Prime and the Mist to be very similar in regards to power, pop`and jumping.
I think the Mist slacks out a bit more, has less depower and relaunches and drifts worse.
I found the Mist really soft while turning and cruising, great upwind too.

As I said, I've only ridden it couple of times, and the Prime only twice. It's my personal and first impressions. If any one wants to test one out over here in Spanish Mediterranean coast, let me know. The people who are selling them in my area are doing a lot of tests and moving up an down a lot.

The new bag is sick! Special pocket for the bar with it's own bar-bag. Heavy duty tested:

I pointed that out already about 2 month ago, in the first topic when they mentioned their new kite.....

A company like Blade must be able to sell their kites on a global scale if they want to be successful. To be able to do so, their marketing MUST be proficient in English, and they should test run the names they choose in at least the 5 major languages!

This year's marketing campaign is a FAIL:
OVERLY slanted
==> negative implication, rather say innovatively slanted or something that has a positive implication
MIST
==> means "TOTAL CRAP" in German. Good luck with selling any in a region with > 100 million people, and some of the biggest kite markets globally.

DISCLAIMER:
I'm a total fan of Momi's design skills, and ride a 9m2 and 12m2 Trigger myself
No dishing here at all, just honest feedback

I know it's quite personal, but i wouldn't stop buying a kite I like only 'cause it's name or colour.

This kite is simply Amazing , if you look at all development and work that has been but in this kite you will se this is a kite made from riders to riders. It is made with passion for the sport we all love and share and i would describe it with the word "Performance".

Try it and make your own opinion , you cant judge a book by its cover... :bye:
