A good brush is a must for kiting. My next vehicle will not have any rugs. Although you can get some pretty good rubber mats to try and catch most of the sand and salt water, carpets are just a pain. I think I had more problems with the car getting skanky from spring snowboarding than kiting.

Yea I'm just getting tiered of driving a huge truck and they just keep getting bigger. I'd love to have a sports car but can't justify that. Trucks are so simple as it dosent matter if the back is dirty.

I guess it's plastic bins and brushes for me.

No one has tried those roof boxes?

Any cool ideas for showers in a car? Lots of people over here have the black PVC pipe on the roof to use for a shower but you don't want that on a car.

No good recommendation for hauling the gear. I store my TT in a snowboard bag and transport it inside the vehicle. Kites stay in their bags, everything else goes into a kids size hockey bag. Not a good system for wet gear.

For the shower I use the Coleman Camp Shower. Best $7 investment ever!

I always pack my kite back into the bag and all my wet gear goes onto my Cabrinha wet bag. This fits my wetsuit, boar dies, helmet, sunglasses, harness and more. It locks tight so no spoilage. Has a waterproof pocket inside also. The is better than buckets etc. best investment ever.

my suggestion is if you have enough money to buy a nice suv like that audi! spend couple grand on a jeep wrangler rhino line the inside and hose out when done!

just get a used car and forget about it

I use a plastic bin as well for all my wet stuff. That seems to keep the water to a manageable level. Boards go into bags that helps with sand. I have cargo area mats for my jeep so that also makes clean up easier, just shake them out every now and then.

2 wet fish bins and a board bag that holds my 3kites. In back of Hiace van,perfect

For me my Van is transportation, work, play etc.
If I had more cash, I would have a second car.... probably just as dirty. It's just a :thing".

I can only think of one here ...(not tut)(like your ride)

Four critical items are required:

1) Brush
2) IKEA bag for wets
3) IKEA bag for drys
4) Boardbag

Change out of your wets standing in the IKEA bag, brush off your board and the underside of the wets IKEA bag and your car should be just fine
