I recently switched out my tiny valve to a cabrinha screw valve. helps a bit... but i'm used to inflating 3/4 from the deflate so not too much time saved

I tried a big valve...OMG it is fantastic!
Soooooo much faster to pump the big kites! They all should have this system!
Companies, listen to the consumers!!!

Westozzy wrote:It is seriously a major factor in my purchase decision as there are plenty of kites that do a similar thing out there. Well it is something I seriously consider.
No quick inflate, no buy from me. Sounds petty but read above sentence.
All kites should have a large flow valve now in my opinion.
I agree with you, that they should all have good large inflation valves.
But it costs retail $15.95 USD for me to buy a large valve, so it is not a consideration on what kite I buy, it's all in how the kite flies.
I think if the Dice had a small inflation valve, you would suffer through it!

Suppose you are right. Funny we pumped up a 2014 trigger yesterday, all of us use either 2014 north or ozone gear, and I had a laugh at all the looks on the on the other 4 guys faces when they saw the little valve with the silly white ball popping about in it...
It was priceless...it was like WTF! f*** that they all said...it was hilarious...there was another experienced guy there ( more than 10 years) and we both saw the funny side and just lost it. f*** me only two years ago he blowing up all his struts on a wainmen...spoilt,,,ha ha ha
If would be the same if we put some of the new gen guys on a 2003 Airush lift or something and said try this.....wtf!!! Where's the depower!!
Still it is inevitable that will have to be the standard. You can make all the arguments for not having one you like but you are just kidding yourself. They are neater, better, quicker. And why the f*** not, pumping is the shit part of the sport.

I like the larger inflation valve, had one on a Switch kite, an Ozone kite and on an Epic proto kite.
I had no problems with them, but I'm more picky and more careful about taking care of my gear than some kiters I know.
I also had no problem (this Tuesday) blowing up the Wainman Big Mama without one pump, larger valves or an electric pump.
I like the kite and the way she flies, so I don't care if Wainman ever goes to one pump or larger valves, feel the same way about the Blade Primes and Epic Screamers.
I do want a go on the Dice though, it sounds like a cracking good kite that can do it all.

Flysurfer uses a extra big valve on their Cronix.
Even bigger than the boston-type valves, which e.g. Ozone uses.
In this video are some more details about the valve:
