I was planning to go there in < 4 weeks... I might need to hold off for a bit.

Toby, I thought they said around 2-3 weeks for power to be returned from what I read and saw on the little news I could find.

I hope everyone is OK down there and best wishes to everyone in the Philippines.

Is there any way to even get from Kalibo to Boracay right now does anyone know?

kalibo airport is open since two days now and the road to caticlan is ok.

some parts of the island is getting the electricity back now and several post on FB from Boracay today says that internet start working aswell in some placeses.

thanks for the update Atte!
I am sure they will try anything to get all back to normal asap.

Keep up updated please, also about the ATM situation.

I also saw on Freestyle Academies facebook page that power is slowly returning around the island and everything is quickly getting back to normal. Sounds like Boracay got off quite lightly compared to some other areas.
