I have found the greatest kite pumping and self launching system going.

That certainly does not look like Atlanta to me! Where ever it is I like it! Great idea for keeping the compressor off the beach.

I didn't have privileges to use these items but I have had the pleasure of kiting Long Bay on some steady eastern winds. I hope to come back this winter.

Hey Clew In
How has the weather/wind been? is December typically a good month for wind on long bay in your experience?

I've been going to Provo for 6 years in early December, heading down again on the 11/30 for two weeks. I have averaged about 5-8 kiting days per trip. I would go later in the winter early Spring if I had my choice but this is when the wife and I can get away. The above 2nd photo shows a line of newly planted palm trees which will border the new Shore Club once its built. The trees and ultimately the Club will hinder access to say the least. A bit of a bummer.
Laughingman, when are you going? I will be flying Airush Lithiums and maybe a Havoc, I wear a red helmet. Don't need anymore than a rashguard, temps in the low 80s or more, similar water temp. Evenings low 70s and nice dining oppurtunities but bring $$$. Locals are nice as long as you show some respect and don't kook out. Most days I'm on a LIthium 14LW with larger TT although last year I got three 10m days, 85 kgs. If you have any questions, feel free to pm me. Have the place fairly dialed in. I like kiteprovo.com. Terri and Mike are great people. You will kite mostly this side of the island. Grace Bay needs some north in it to be any good otherwise its offshore launches for the most part over there. I do usually make it out though at least once. Staying at RWI.

Planning a trip there with wife and kid next september. Seems a horrible month to kite though. Are there other things to do for the family? Seems pretty expensive too, any place to recommend next to the beach?
Those pics are awesome !!!!
