Hey kiters,
I've had a fantastic trip in Egypt a week ago and I just had to talk about this place. We had 10 days of non stop wind and flat water lagoons and the hotel we stayed in was just incredible with extremely friendly staff, great food and service. All this talk about safety and issues like this all over the web didn't bother us non and when we actually got there we realised that it was all hyped up...
We stayed in Matarma Bay Hotel
https://www.facebook.com/Matarmabay?fref=ts which was a few minutes drive from Fly Kitesurfing Centre
http://www.flykitesurfing.com in Ras Sudr, south Sinai. Definitely one of the best kitesurfing spots I've ever been to.
Cheers,

I agree a great place to kite.
However there wasn't wind the past 10 days.
Season is over.

I just returned from 3 weeks in Brazil. 21 days in a row, 11 on a 10m and the rest on 8m RPM's. We did a 9 day downwind trip. A great mix of flat water Lagoons and Waves. Baleia and Barra Grande were awesome!. That was kite heaven for me!
