looks nice. Now you just have to convince all the major kite brands not to sew the sail material onto the center strut all the way to the leading edge.

The video isnt working. Does it have a gyro that keeps it level on kite rotation?

Hey Canadian Brother - look for the Youtube link on the page to see the video. The video link itself does nothing. Took me several attempts to figure this out too. It is not a gyro but a simple rotating collar that pivots as the kite changes position. Gravity simply pulls it into a lower position. Quite ingenious. Has a tightening screw to stabilize it too.

Where is the video showing it works?
Nice idea though.
But the price point is too high.
I think one could build this in an afternoon for peanuts.
Edit:
sorry found the video, looks great.
the video links from the tiny youtube logo at the upper right of the page.
Just move the link so it is easier to find!
And I still think the price is high...

Very cool idea. But I don't believe that it will work on my Core kites.
There is not enough open stitching on the canopy.
The other thing is its large profile. and How secure is it in a crash? A buddy of mine attached his Gopro using a modified headstrap mount. It seemed pretty grippy so he did not secure it with any tape to the strut. It spun around on an impact with the water and went through the canopy. That setup had a much smaller profile.
