Hi,
I am flying a quiver of RRD Obsessions 2012&2013. I really like the kites. The global bar is also nice and clean, the only thing I do not like so much is the double frontline safety.
Does anyone fly the kites with a single frontlinie safety bar?
If yes, do the kites flag out well, even in high and gusty winds?
Thanks for your Feedback.

I am flying the Obsession 6m and Religion 9m.
I am using slingshot bar and it works.
I have flagd the Obsesion one time in 40 knots and it plagd OK.

Any more experiences?
I have the same aversion to double frontline safety, but really love the Religion, would like to use e.g. the Naish bar instead of the orginal RRD Global bar.

If the front line split is approximately at the same height any bar with same line length should do.

I have used naish and slingshot bars on RRD obsession. Naish have the same kook proof connections, so do not require modding.

This is certainly something you want to test in controlled environment.
I have had experience with at least 3 different kites that would not flag out properly to one center line. Typically what happens is they start to spin after you release the kite. Not enough to drag you through the water but it certainly makes it difficult to self rescue....
