Stumbled across this video...very interesting to see the amount of peripheral vision we actually use in our sport...not sure how the boom stays on his helmet - looks like it swivels around his body at some points...

screams out twisted in lines and deathloop pulled by the head to.

I also think he would benefit from having a tight swivel and adjusting by hand so if doesn't flap around like that.
Set up right and you can see the mount.

Must be a Gyro in that mount ; the orientation stays put, rather nicely !!

Usually the movement on a helmet cam, will make me sea-sick, but
this didn't bother me one little Bit .

I Really REALLY "Liked" that !! :thumb:

It's been around, with a ball bearing at the base. He just extend the boom too long.
Damien Leroy was using it in his video.

Nope. No gyro, just inertia. It naturally stays where it's put and when it rotates is looks like it was meant to rotate. Sort of makes it look like he's doing a handle pass. :)

You can get gyro mounts but they have motors and shit.

I really like this too,...
and I think its very likely that if the worst possible tangle happened
that the gopro mounts would break before they kill

back to the subject,...
I get my best gopro on a single line kite (still photos)
when the gopro is free to swing and flop around and
do its own thing
