4 years now. I'm advanced would like to be further advanced than where I am but shoulder problems started right after I picked up the sport and it took 2 years and a different doctor before I got them fixed. This past year as they have been healing and getting strong again I have started to progress. I ride wake style and cable when the wind dead. I gave up on kite loops after my surgeries not sure if I will ever go back to doing them.

been doing it for about 2 years now with a lot of sailing and wake boarding before. its all about what you want to get out of it and thats the beauty. if you want to take the it to the max with freestyle/wakestyle then it is going to take ALOT of hard falls before you start to understand how stomp any tricks. so if you want, just take a red bull and keep saying to yourself, its only water, it doesn't hurt that bad. and if you do go down that path i advise you to stay off boots until you start to consistently land tricks because before that, they only amplify how quickly you stop when you hit the concrete, i mean water. and don't be afraid to go outside your comfort level a little bit

Almost 5 years now, not nearly as proficient in the tricks I'd like to be able to do. Then again, I'm pretty comfortable in high wind situations, not the time to do tricks but surviving the elements.
