Combination of the higher strength of a splice and the loop covered and protected with sleeving. Taped transition eliminates catching or snagging when laying out the lines, and the amount of sleeving is minimized to reduce drag in the air and swing weight that causes line ends to tangle.

Could/should reduce the amount of sleeving further, want just enough so that the larks head is over sleeving and not bare kite line.

I don't mind paying Top $ for a product that is GOOD !!

Lines are a MAJOR priority for Me ; don't want them breaking
on me, when it's a 2-mile swim back to shore !!

Did i mention that i don't have legs ? I Really REALLY don't want
my lines to Break !!!!!!!!

Bet you're kiting with Q-power lines ??

I would expect the sand / dirt at Lake Mead launch sites to be sharp and very hard on standard 12-strand single braid kite lines.

Here on Vancouver Island it's barnacles, razor sharp.

Looks like you are going to slide right past South Padre Island in Texas, and Cape Hatteras in North Carolina.
You may want to make sure to check those spots out. Couple of the best spots in the US

Recived my set off line.
Very happy with the quality of line used, looks like braidtech line. nice and stiff and splices are a1
And lines where made to my specs of non sleeved at one end of the front lines.
