Ho'okipa, Maui, Hawaii / with Robby Naish, Pete Cabrinha and the KSP World Championship:
This year in November we have not been in Brazil, but we did once again (after more than 17 years) the long trip from Europe to Hawaii.
In Ho'okipa, where normally kitesurfing is not permitted, we have witnessed the KSP Kite Surf World Championship.
As part of the program the kite legends Robby Naish, Pete Cabrinha and Flash Austin were on the water, too.
The new world champions are Keahi de Aboitiz and Moona Whyte, and they are also a nice couple:
Kai Lenny and Jalou Langeree (sister of Kevin) were second.
The guys from the Cape Verde Islands (Airton Cozzolino and Mitu Monteiro) took places 4 and 5:
