Allround kite's for intermediate rider

Hello kiter's
I've been kiting since august and i'm starting to get okay in this sport. I'm going to sell my kahoona and naish ride kites, and buy 2-3 new ones.
As it's always choppy or waves id like to get good allround kite, to ride waves but still be able to jump and get some hang time.
I've been looking at 2014 f.one bandit and cabrinha switchblade, both looks like great kite's, but id like to hear your opinion, suggestions and recommendings.

For board ive been looking at f.one mitu monteiro 5'8'' and cabrinha s-quad 5'7''
I'm 194(6'4) and 82kg

Epic Renegade.
Designed to be a surf kite that is also a good all arounder.
I've had a 2011 model year in 11M and 3G 7M & 13M models, and eventually replaced the 11M with a new 4G model.
Fast turning, great low end power, sheet out well for depower and no getting yanked around in crappy gusty inland lake winds, no backstall, drift well when you ride towards them, built well, reinforced correctly, best bag in the business, second set of lines supplied with the kite, second inner expandable bag supplied with the kite.

Yup Renegade relaunch best in the industry. I have Switchblades also seem good for intermediate riders. Slow turning though. Banit is not an intermediate kite unless they changed them. Very grunty and a performance kite with lots of lift. North Rebel also very popular. 2 kites max. I use 1 kite 80% of the time. A 17 and 11m for me covers 11 knots to 30. Unless you want to be in 30 plus knots. Also someone brought up always buying last years model as they get 40-60% off and have tons more reviews to read up on to make a better choice. I think this is a very smart approach as there is often not much different between previous years models. 2013 Rebel or Epic renegade, Switchblade maybe? Whatever is the best deal and you decided on based on all the reviews. I'm sure there are other brands as well that fit this criteria.

See if you can demo an Airush Lithium. They jump well, floaty, super easy relaunch. Easy to self launch and land. They have good low end and a great range. The work real well in waves too. I was riding Kahoonas mostly and they are similar.

Kiting since August and you want to change kites....why?

Easy kites are the best to progress on.

I know the Kahoona, I have a 5,5 that love in waves and strong wind and tested 7,5 and 9,5. is a really allrounder, perfect to progress in waves, jump and much more. Not know the Ride but I see good reviews.

Perhaps I would look at boards, depending on what you would like to learn

You've caught the bug...! There's lots of good kites out there but demo as many as you can get your hands on so that you know what you like. Use the local kiters as a litmus test for what works in your area. I'm sure they'll have views (good, bad, and ugly) but be prepared to go for something different that works better for you. Both the kites you've mentioned are good. I ride Rebels..and like em. They suit me and the way I like to ride (as smooth as possible) but could be completely wrong for someone who wants to unhook and join the wake monkeys.

I would focus on the kite that your better local riders are on , and one that is supported by your local shop. I am a big fan of supporting your local shop whenever you can. In most cases you will get the best support and service, and someone to back you up if you have a issue with your new gear. They are also the people who are fighting the hardest to keep access open. We have two shops here on Cape Cod , one sells North and Cab, the other Slingshot.
Good brands, good shops, life is good.....

Hold on to your old kites!
(I wish I did sometimes). Its always great to have a backup if your primary needs repair and great to have if you want to train someone else. I flew a Bandit once and it was slick...very nice ride...very comfortable and stable.
