A downloop is also good when you have a kook riding behind you too close to do a normal transition. Instead of looking back and letting him know he is too close, which usually they already know?? throw a real fast down loop and ride away clean and far away from the maggot who is pinching you in :rollgrin:

..:
That happened to Me, in San Diego, (sail bay) Mission beach.

Was blowing 25 -30 + & i was on my 13M Edge ; dude wanted me to
put the kite up to zenith & sink, cause the N end of the bay was coming up Fast
and he wouldn't turn around. He was 20ft behind me. and bit too much wind for a
normal down-loop.

Screwed Him up though ;
i grabbed the rear-line, just above the padding above the bar
and pulled it behind my Butt, while doing the transition turn , (that De-poweres the kite)
like a Bunch !!

So i get yanked about 40ft down-wind and fly by him the opposite direction, before he
realized what even happened !!!

It gets Better :

So he's thinking, (and i Knew he would) ; if that legless white haired dude can do that
then so can i , ((and he tried)) . HA !!

He tried to do the same with only using his bar ; great loop, with Lots of Power
He got ripped like 30 to 40-yards down-wind and skipped a few times before he Crashed .
I kited by & said Hi !!

He gave me a cold Beer later ; asked how i did that . HeHe !!
