I would think a god like you would be riding superior wave kites like North, Wainman or BWS...

It sucks. Yeah it can be done, and well, but given the choice most would frontside. This comes from a goofy who kited in California for 10 years and then moved back to Cape Town.

I wont ever buy anything north after wasting money of a shitty twin tip from them then having one of their overpriced bars fall apart on me too fast. Their kites are also too expensive and don't even have a c kite. Wainman I see maybe will make a nice c kite but what will it cost. For unhooked wave riding a small c kite is the kite to fly no contest. Not many options other than switch of slingshit. They can market it to wake style riders but anyone who unhooks in waves know what is what and what is marketing bs.

Riding backside because you don't want to learn switch is the easy way. It looks like shit but you are technically wave riding and it is still enjoyable but not as much as riding frontside.

The only time backside riding makes any sense is if you are not doing top and bottom down the line riding. Like if you are just riding onshore shit anyway or parking in place on a wave not turning at all.
