And must say, I can not understand so many having troubles loading the pages fast ?

Even on a "thin" mobile connection, it works fine and fast

But of course, if it IS a problem for many users - you have to focus on this, and not have too many advertisments causing it to slow down.
On the other hand, I know they are what keep this site alive, true, so a balance

I stand corrected (somewhat) regarding how fast kiteforum loads

Maybe some are entering through the main page http://www.kiteforum.com ?

As it IS slower to load, and you have to wait before the forum buttons to the upper left is "active", true

I just discovered this lately, as I went to the "front" page on a few different computers, and not my own ones - so I had no direct bookmarks on those.

I had to go through the front page - which loads slower even on a fast connection, yes


If you ever use the frontpage, indeed it is not as fast (was ? if faster server now) ...

I hardly ever come around the front, but almost always go directly to the postings: viewforum.php?f=1

Or if the foil: viewforum.php?f=196

And so on. So they are bookmarks on my computers and mobile devices, thus they load blistering fast always

If some has trouble on the frontpage on thin connections, my advice is to bookmark the forum sections directly, and voilá it loads really fast

the good thing is, that PMU is not hijacking topics...he starts his own and rants on there...which is fine, it is his opinion, and everyone who doesn't like it, doesn't need to click any of his topics.
So it is pretty easy to ignore him

a big question right now is, if I get a community software which has many features, as you know already from facebook. Can be used good for classifieds, connecting with people, groups, sharing pictures and videos.

The question is, will you guys use it?

Maybe a good alternative for users who don't use facebook.

I would like to push a button to "thank" someone. Another to "Like" someone's statement would be good too. Many times, I like someone's statement or want to thank them, but have to respond to the thread to do so. I would like for them to know that I read their information and respond with a positive response directly to their statement.
