Edt thanks for your help. I've decided to test how much wear the ring/ball causes on the line. So here is the finished product. I'll spend some time going forward designing something that works like yours but may swivel....
The red pig tail with the two rings goes through the webbing loop and is sewn to the webing and the webing is sewn tight closing any opportunity of one side getting off side.

Single centre line flag. Stopper ball. Below the bar swivel. Debatable adjustable width. Shortened pull/pull to clean up a bit of mess. 1st. Test in Cuba in a few weeks.
