Thanks for sharing the link! 9 lbs eh? A little heavier Jan I would have guessed but probably still light enough.
I wonder if anyone has experience with one of these against the FlyBoards Flysplit?

It's a tad bit heavier due to the connection. but not by much.
We have Flysurfer Split boards here as well. Similar design - they are made in the same factory. Flysurfer is more of a freeride board - smooth and carves nicely. Nobile NHP is more of a freestyle - better upwind, pop, and low end. Not sure what's going on with Flysurfer, but at the moment they are not available in US.

Thanks for the response - my problem is that I can't find anywhere to go and ride boards side by side to compare
Looks like I'll keep shopping the used market for now

Any reviews out there for the new 2016? I have a flysplit M that's not ageing very gracefully and thinking about picking up a new Nobile. I love the tool less feature of the Nobile but they look much heavier.

For comparison's sake, I have a Kitelement Revolt at 136 x 41. It is squarish with the W tips and medium rocker. It's relatively stiff in the middle and softer on the tips. I'm pretty new, and it's great for a beginner, but it seems to have decent pop and it's forgiving in the chop. I ran across this thread because I'm looking for a new bag to travel with the split board, and my buddy told me about this conversation. Anyway, I recently measured and weight the board and here are my results:
Split measurements - 16" x 28" (almost exactly).
Weight - 10.7 lbs. (+0.3 for screwdriver, I just called it 11lbs.) - That's with fins, slingshot dually bindings and a handle.
I weight all my kites, too, and it appears that I can get 4 kites + the board all in a 10 lbs. bag and be *just* at 50 lbs. Bars, harness, etc, would have to go into bag 2 or I only bring 3 kites.
Lemme know if you'd like to see weights of stuff (mostly slingshot kites). I'm happy to share.
Cheers.
