I had the flight deck as well. it was a great board for riding in light wind but it was large and not easily manoeuvrable. I sold it and built my own custom foam board.

Its 141x46. The width allows me the plane instantly in light wind and the shortened length allows manoeuvrability. Its foam shaped like the JL but with a thinner rail line for better edging. I have an additional set of inserts about one inch off the centre line inserts to allow adjustment of the pads to bring the heel closer to the edge. I increased the rocker from a typical flat light wind board, and added an extra layer of glass to add more stiffness. WOW. I can tell you that its amazing, the length is just perfect to eliminate tip spray, great pop, awesome wind range, and all around great fun board.

Nice work on the custom build, I think we'd all love to see a Picture - Thanks.

And yes, any thoughts on 140x42 vs 137 x 43 would be appreciated- Cheers.. I weigh 170lbs...
