Is this a good kite for average rider? Are the bridals with all those pulleys problematic or prone to tangles or getting caught on wingtips?

I'm the average Joe in regards of kiting, being in the sport since 2006.
I bought a 2015 9.5m kahonna several months ago, and I'm very happy with its performance. No problems with the bridles, despite its number and length.
Very predictable, pulls like a truck and quite fast, it's a good all-around kite.
Would recommend it if you liked previous kahoonas or waroos.

I flew the 2015 11.5m, it was honestly one of the worst kites I've ever flown in terms of feel and performance. There are SO many better kites out there.

@dylan don't agree with your opinion.
The kahoona does everything well without being perfect at anything. It's an all around kite.
Of course, if you're looking for un-hooked freestyle this is NOT your kite... but can be done
I find it really friendly with the user, in fact, I always recommend it for people who are learning or that are into freeride.
Compared with my trusted 13,5 and a friends' 11,5 i see the 2015 model as more "C" shape (considering that older models where quite flat).
