The JUDGE is part of the "3rd Generation" (3G) kites from Epic. They will come only in one color which is Yellow. The Judge 8 & 11 will come with the XTEND bar with 22 meter lines plus inside the bag you will have an extra set of 18 meter lines plus a bigger loop for you CL for hooking and unhooking easier.
These kites will be available end of August. Will give you more info on the JUDGE but for now these are some pictures of the JUDGE.

Shame about the "pulley" :-(

Variable front line tow point generally means sloppy SLE type feel, but could be wrong! Will be interesting to see if it really does have that c kite feel.

2 sets of lines is a nice touch - but 18m with 4m extensions would have been a better idea surely to make the changeover much quicker, and save you money.

Pity they don't have Epic in UK, looks good :thumb:

Ya there was a big argument about C kites with "bridals" in another thread not too long ago :)
I remember someone saying if it's got a bridal or a 5th line then it's NOT a c kite. Not that I care... c SLE... i'm a 9 to 5er kiter

I'm sure this Judge c kite is an awesome kite :thumb: It looks great... I like the corners are chopped off ... probably easier to relaunch maybe?

IMO if it feels like a c then it is a c whether it has 4,5,6 lines, bridles, pulleys etc. I just haven't flown a kite with bridles and pulleys that feels like a c yet.

Guys,
If you want you can remove the 2 attachment point so you don't have the "ring" and just attach one line only. But then it won't relaunch by itself you will have to swim towards it like we use to.
The reason we put this "V" attachment with the ring is for fast relaunching just by pulling one side of the bar the kite will roll on itself.
Believe me every body that has demo the kites here in Greece were very impressed.

Looks pretty sick and that little v bridle won't bother me.
Only one color tho! What a pity. One color for each size would have been great for those of us considering getting the 8 and 11.
