one flaw.

the most sure way of getting something stolen is to put a lock on it.

leave it unlocked and no one will take it. put a lock on it and people will take it

Here in South Africa it's rare to even see a kitepump alone on a beach, even the busiest kitebeach in Cape Town. Lock everything in your car, and hope your car is still where you left it. If you're on foot, you take only what you need in the water, and borrow a pump when you get to the beach. Would be real nice to just be able to leave your stuff on the beach, but hey, it's a wild world out there... :boxing:
