Hello all,
i am going to buy a new draft to replace my bolt 2011.
I am wondering if it's worth to spend the money on buying the 2013 bar to replace the one that came with my 2011 bolt.
May i please know your opinion about this as the bar are kind of expensive nowadays.
Thanks guys

Does the 2011 bar already have the low V? Then I would rather get new lines and a good swivel like the Wainman and carry on with that one. There are no fundamental changes.
I have a 2010 and a 2012 Naish bar. The 2010 had the higher Y and I retrofitted that with new centre lines and the swivel.
On the 2012 bar I replaced the swivel because the Naish one is crap. No big changes from 2012 to 2013. I think it was primarily the grip on the bar.
The QR is still the same and still very functional. There is a small difference between 2010 and 2012 in the cleat for the depower rope making it a bit easier on the 2012 to pull it. It is not a big difference and they probably already did that in 2011.
I tend to use my 2010 more because it has a less structured grip which I like more. Especially right now using gloves.

I would say yes. I think the 2011 bolt had the high y. The new bar has a very very nice grip. It is a bit slimmer, but you get used to that fast.
The swivel is improved..a bit more open. Not to mention that the lines and everything else is new. The last thing you want is to have stuff break when you are out there

I asked this question once earlier. My question was if the 2010 Universal Bar would work on the Park 2013/2014.
The 2010 bar has the "high" Y split. In what way will this affect the handling or steering of the kite? Will this not perform optimal or what will the difference be with the high and low Y on the newer Universal bars?

I don't think it will affect the kite handling.
I like the new ones low spilt...but it is more intangible as to why LOL. I doubt it affects the kite handling much.

I ride the 2014 Park on 2011 and 2013 bars, no difference other than the swivel. If you loop a lot, then it is the swivel variant, if not, i'd rather prefer the 2011 because if the nicer grip.
