Fabs - where do you see people calling the Dice a C kite? Most of the stuff I read about the Dice on forums (and I read a lot) talk about it's "C kite characteristics". Do you think it has Delta characteristics? Bow characteristics?

I demo 2014 Neo 9, then bought 7,10. So far used 7 up to 32 knots had to depower 30% at 32kn. I usually like to ride well powered. Believe I could ride my 7 up to 35kn, above I would go for my Evo 6 2012. If you have a lot of days in 35-40kn I would go for 6.

I m about same weight as you and ride Whip and a more gun shaped custom board on the bigger days. Come from Evo 2011 which has a lot of low-end grunt and rather poor high-end, still using thoose for freeride. note, never tried previous Neo years.

Neo 2014 is a fantastic wave kite

Hi Daniel, I recently bought a 6,8,10 set of 2014 neo's. love them!
I reckon the 8 is about the same power as my old 2013 neo 9m. But it's a lot nippier. Pivot turns a lot faster.

Hope that helps a little. I'm 81k on a wam strapped.

Yeah, that's gonna help for sure, thanks! I think I'm gonna go for 10/8/6 as well. Will be testing 7 or 9 soon and decide after.

Fabs is pissed with his leak and so he should be!!

Solutions have been offered but I know what it is like when you have neither the time to leave it at a shop or you wanna ride it when the wind is up and not have it in a shop.

The dice has the strongest C arc of all the same kites in its target market, the tapered tips can be decieving, just squaring off the tips doesn't make it a kite with strong c kite characteristics, look at the arc profile. Hence why I think some freeriding crew struggle a bit with its bottom and top end. And even jumping it in its lower end. Wave freestyle is its target. You wanna free ride boost then get a kite built for that! But purists would say a true C has no bridals.

Don't get frustrated mark just enjoy as I know you are !!

Have you flown the 6 already? I'm curious how it works in strong winds.

Just once in maybe 25 to30 knots and a decent swell and totally loved it. Smooth, fast and stable, brilliant down the line. I haven't used it enough to know bottom and top end but its a beauty I reckon!

Hi guys,

I had the chance to compare the Neo 2013 9m with 2014 8m in 21-29 knots. While being ok on the 9m , I was pretty overpowered on the 8m 2014. In my first turn the kite pulled me off the board- quite a beast.
I'll buy 9/7/5 because the 8m would be too strong for my taste. Being used to the old Neo it's quite a different cup of tea...
My weight is 83 Kg.

Never tried the Neo 5 but fly my 4m2 Neo 2014 in anything above 25 knots. In fact my Neo 4 and Dice 6 can be flown in the same conditions but the Neo obviously is more comfortable at 40+
