I use the 138 and i'm 62kg. I think it's a good size till 75 kg.

South Wales, all wave riders at my local. Get a lot of odd looks turning up with boots and a c kite.

Think ill try and get a demo of them before I pick the wrong size.

I've also seen some competitive riding at the cable with these boards so I'm pretty excited about them

They've had experience with the Ronix Von Videl and have said it's too draggy behind a kite.

The Pop is a solid cable board. I just picked up one for traveling. So I don't have to carry both boards with me if I'm going to kite and ride cable. It's a little fast on the cable which is not to big of a problem. Being a softer board you have to load a bit longer for air tricks to really lock in the energy. My biggest complaint would be how soft it is between the boots. Way too flexi for me there for a cable board. I ride a lot of cable and kite a lot so I will keep to my 2 board quiver.

All so hate the off-set inserts. Not needed with boots and most pads are going to a more adjustable base. So not really needed anymore.

Next gen Pop is the same shape, but different graphics. I talked to DC about this before, and they're not going to be pushing out minor changes and trying to sell it as a new board. I dig their company philosophy.

I agree that it's good that they aren't flogging equipment for sales. But if they don't want to change the shape surely they could try to make the board a little lighter and a little stronger. Maybe put in inline inserts for rail riders?

I could understand "little lighter", but there are many other boards lighter out there. The Pop has just the perfect weight for me, it has that "swing" feel. The flow looks to be similar too.
Little stronger? I have not seen a stronger (more durable) board yet. I ride mine on stones and rocks and the base is still ok, unbelievable.

Yea seriously. This base is crazy. They get it made at the same factory as Ronix wakeboards, they have an ABS sidewall too. Have not seen a kiteboard with this level of durability yet, although rumor has it Airush is looking to do something similar this coming season.

As far as lighter goes, I have this carbon fiber lightwind board from Nomad Kiteboarding that I whip out when I really need lightwind ability. That's the only time I feel like the weight is a hindrance.
