Slingshot - great design. AWFUL color combinations. I don't know where they come up with them.

Yes, Epic and Ozone make nice colors/graphics combos and let you choose what you want.
I'm not a big fan of the SS jelly bean approach where you never know what you get... I know, the flying characteristics are most important, but I like looking up in the sky at a sharp looking kite. It's total personal preference, but I have a blue kite this year that I love...super crisp, looks great in the sky. Then I have this yellow and red one and I'm just like, "ugh..."

Wainman graphics are a real personal style preference because of the big drawings. I like them, but can see it being way too much for some people.

This one cracked me up a few years back as an awful kite graphics choice.
Well, unless you are a 10 year old girl and are really into horses...

Nobody mentioned the Gin kites, especially the URU. They have the best graphics i.m.h.o. Here's the wasabi color URU:

It's all down to personal taste. For me personally, I prefer kites with simple colour blocks. Designs such as 2013 - 14 North, Ozone, F One Bandit 6 onwards.

Last year I flew F One Bandit 6's, I really liked the graphics on those kites. I think colour blocks along with a clean bar looks perfect. But the whole "tribal" thing is getting a little dated now, hence why I can never tell which year some Naish kites are. This year I'm on North Dice's.

In my opinion, the more graphics a kite has, the tackier and cheaper it looks. For example, I would never buy a Wainman kite, the graphics and even the bar does not appeal to me at all.

And I think the worst one out there is Star Kites.

I'm a fan of designs like Ozone, Switch and Ocean Rodeo. Hate kites like North, Gaastra and Epic.

Wainman is a bit of hit or miss. The new Cab's are pretty nice. F-One and Slingshot are somewhere in the middle for me.

Can't really picture other brands in my head at the moment
