Broken Head Film for video production
Broken Head Film will be responsible for the daily videos this year again. We look forward to the partnership again can't wait for the season to start. We had Mark Bristol from Broken Head in a small interview. Get to know his recipe against a sunburn!
KTE: Broken Head Film did last year, for the first time, the pictures and videos for the KTE. What is your experience and what is your best memory from each event?
Broken Head: I had a blast directing the media last year; every event was so different it was awesome! Highlights included the wild wind in France, the parties in Germany, the sunsets in Holland and the sun (and rain!) in Barcelona.
KTE: What will we expect this year?
Broken Head: You can expect the Broken Head ART Project stamp, epic action, beautiful imagery and all the crazy, fun times from the riders and crew!
KTE: Marc Metzler will be our photographer this year, is it easier just to focus on one thing?
Broken Head: It got pretty wild last year! Metzler's a great snapper and a cool crazy guy! I can’t wait to work with him again.
KTE: Marc told us he already has some new ideas going on, you too?
Broken Head: Broken Head Film is full of surprises - it's what we do best! But they wouldn’t be surprises if I told you what they were. You'll have to watch the videos to find out!
KTE: How was your winter and what do you do when you don’t spend your time with us down at the beach?
Broken Head: Winter has been great! I made my first psychedelic surf movie in Fuerteventura and when I’m not travelling I’ve got my head buried in various music and video projects. The rest of my time I spend hibernating in the photography studio, writing and playing music, swimming, surfing and snowboarding.
KTE: you figure out how not to get sunburn, after all that burn from last summer?
Broken Head: Lots of beer usually does the trick for me!
KTE: What is so difficult in filming for the KTE?
Broken Head: The wind is the usually the troublemaker! It’s often impossible to plan, you have no idea what you'll be shooting until you get to beach. It's a great challenge though, the pressure of uncertainty always makes you dig deep and get the results!
